Designating people responsible for in-store customer experience is at an all-time high!  #7 - When asked who in their companies were responsible for the customer experience, 22 % of retail executives named the CMO--a percentage that increased nearly 50 % during the past year.  6% of retailers have designated chief customer experience officers.

Consistent messaging across all channels and touch points has never been more important!  #15 - Retailers are connecting with digitally savvy consumers through a variety of touch points, including the Web (76 %), email (73 %), the store (50 %), and mobile (43 %).
